It was a warm summer evening in December 2014 when we first met. Our friends had set us up on a double date.
We met at the Bayswater Bar & Grill on the Hervey Bay Esplanade, and as soon as Rhiannon walked in, I knew that my friends had been right. She was beautiful, with long brown hair and dark brown eyes, and she had a smile that could light up the room.
We started talking, and we immediately felt a connection. We had a lot in common. We spent the evening laughing and chatting, and by the end of the night, I knew that I wanted to see her again.
The next time was at the Hervey Bay Cinemas to watch 'Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb'. It didn't take long for us to realize that we were meant to be together.
As the months turned into years, our relationship only grew stronger. We supported each other through tough times and celebrated each other's successes. We travelled to Melbourne for the Formula 1, went to Perisher Valley to go snowboarding, visited Daydream Island, and spent countless lazy weekends snuggled up on the couch.
And now, eight years later, we are getting ready to tie the knot. We've been planning our wedding for months, and we can't wait to start this new chapter in our lives together.
Our wedding is set for October 14th, 2023, and we've chosen a beautiful outdoor venue overlooking the Story Bridge and Brisbane River. We've invited all of our closest friends and family to celebrate with us, and we can't wait to share this special day.
As I stand here thinking about our journey together, I can't help but feel grateful for that double date all those years ago. It's amazing how one small decision can change the course of your life in such a profound way.
Rhiannon has brought so much joy, love, and laughter into my life, and I feel incredibly lucky to have her by my side. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her and to see what the future holds for us.
As we look forward to our wedding day, I know that it will be a celebration of our love and commitment to each other. We'll exchange vows under the picturesque ceiling of the Greek Orthodox Church, surrounded by the people we love most in the world. It will be a day filled with laughter, tears, and memories that we'll cherish for the rest of our lives.
I can't wait to start this new chapter in our lives together as husband and wife. Here's to a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventures together.
